As we start to approach the end of the academic year, Wycombe Abbey’s Year 13 pupils continue to celebrate world class university offers. In spite of the challenging circumstances that they have faced in recent months, pupils’ hard work is being rewarded.
57 Wycombe Abbey pupils have received in excess of 250 university offers from institutions around the world. Pupils will confirm their UK university destination on A Level Results Day. However, pupils have received offers from universities including the following:
Our pupils have also been in receipt of exceptional offers from America. These include Art and Design offers from School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and Pratt Institute in which our pupils have been given scholarships worth tens of thousands of dollars. Other pupils have received offers from prestigious American universities such as Emory University in Georgia.
The range of qualifications available to our pupils, as evidenced by our recent award from Pearson, has seen our Year 13 pupils successfully apply to over forty different courses, ranging from Maths and Engineering to Geography and Economics and many others. It is very exciting to envisage the range of contributions that they will be making to their many academic disciplines, both during their time at university and beyond.
We are very proud of the offers that our pupils have achieved and look forward to offering updates on our pupils’ destinations upon receipt of their A Level results in August.
