End of Year Activity Week

School News June 29, 2018

Pupils at WAISCZ had an exciting, interactive, challenging and demanding final week with us for this academic year. Through a range of outstanding activities, including abseiling, raft-building kayaking, vertical rescue, water rescue and many more the pupils made sure they were prepared for the most difficult trips any top UK Boarding School could offer. They are now much better prepared to tackle the challenges of expeditions to places such as Iceland, Greenland or the Himalayas where the school is planning trips over the next few years.

Admission to the world’s top universities is about so much more than grades in the classroom. Pupils have to have a chance to develop holistically in a wide and deep way and be encouraged and supported in finding their passion and in becoming rounded people. Our pupils showed their commitment to that over this week and were rewarded with certificates from our external provider Indier for their achievements in outdoor education this week.

We would like to thank all our pupils and staff for such a fantastic culmination to the year. We hope you enjoy your summer holiday!
